The British Metal scene has never been more alive and vibrant as two of its most exciting and promising emerging acts unite in a collision of white-hot raw energy and searing power at one of central London’s premier venues. This Saturday (30/06/12), symphonic metal stalwarts PYTHIA are joined by Mortad, one of the hottest new bands to grace the capital’s thriving scene, at London’s Bordeline, in what will be a night of gut-busting riffs, searing guitar solos and uncompromising metal intensity.

PYTHIA will be performing tracks from their critically-acclaimed second album ‘The Serpent’s Curse’, described as … a truly mesmerizing mix of thrash, power and ladylike class” by Terrorizer magazine, along with some fan-favourites from their standard-setting first album, ‘Beneath the Veiled Embrace’. Those unfamiliar with PYTHIA are sure to be quickly wowed by their blisteringly energetic and epic live show.

MORTAD recently released their debut album ‘The Myth of Purity’, of which Metal Hammer enthusiastically predicted “…will become seen as one of the finest debuts of the year”. They have already carved out an impressive reputation for themselves as a fearsome live act and here is an opportunity to see them perform in their adopted home of London.

Doors are at 7pm
